FAQs
On this page you will find answers to frequently asked questions about the Bupa Family Challenge.
When can my family start the challenge?
Your family can start the challenge on any week that suits you during the school term, however the Challenge starts each Monday, and you must have registered your family by the Friday prior to participate in the next week.
How many challenges do we have to do?
Each family member does 6 challenges every day. The 6 challenges are made up of 2 nutritional challenges, 2 healthy activity challenges and 2 social challenges. The same chosen challenges are done each day. Your family must also complete at least one (or more if you like) FAMILY Challenge which the family does together only once at any time during the week.
Do the children do the same challenges as the adults?
No, the kids will choose their daily challenges and the grown-ups will choose their daily challenges.
Why donate or fundraise?
The Bupa Family Challenge is an initiative of Life Education and Bupa to encourage families to live healthier and happier lives. Life Education has been delivering health and drug education programs to Australian children in schools for over 30 years and there is a misconception that we are totally government funded. We are a charity, and as such rely on fundraising to be able to continue what we believe is incredibly important work. Our up to the minute health and drug education programs are delivered by highly trained educators all over Australia and help to empower our young Australians to make safe and healthy life choices.
Do you have to donate or fundraise to do the challenge?
No, however if your family donates or fundraises a minimum of $25 for Life Education it qualifies your family to be entered into the prize draw.
When are the prizes drawn?
Check out the terms and conditions to find out when all the prizes are drawn.
